Ours too, Barb. A season within it's self, change. And we've missed you. We had an extended vacation then an unexpected move, we're getting close to being in a new home and then hope to take up with your challenges again.
I see evidence of each challenge we've done last year. My kids don't look past a detail in nature anymore. The always slow down to look, listen, ask.

Indeed, although it is still summer here in Belgium, today we found so many mushrooms in the woodlands. I think it was a clear forbidding of autumn. The story with photo's is here:

We did some blackberrying as well.
