Handbook of Nature Study Newsletter - March 2014 Nature Journals

Cover Handbook of Nature Study Newsletter March 2014 Nature Journal Button

March 2013
Nature Journal Edition
We are on the verge of a new month of nature study. Coming up in a few weeks, spring will start to arrive. At least we can hope it is going to be spring. In my part of the world, we may just go to summer since we have really had spring-like weather for a few weeks already. In other areas, the cold has had a tight grip for a long, long time and spring may be just a faint hope.

Is March coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb? Check this month's newsletter for a printable activity to record your results.

Contents of this edition of the newsletter include:
  • 6 articles by various OHC participants and myself. This edition of the newsletter will give you practical and encouraging help in getting started with a nature journal or to continue growing as a journaling family.
  • New feature in the newsletter: Nature Journal Page Toppers
  • Spotlight Family - learn how the OHC has encouraged this family in their nature study activities from the Pacific Northwest
  • Nature Photo of the Week - featured images from our Pinterest board
  • Recommended study links
I have attached the newsletter download link to the bottom of my blog feed so if you are a subscriber you will receive the link to the latest newsletter at the bottom of every post for the month of March.
